Mary Blair grew from a young girl who loved color into a successful illustrator, designer, and animator. She continued living her life full of color and with out-of-the-box artistic ideas. Mary was befriended by Walt Disney, who saw her passion for color as an asset and eventually gave her a work opportunity she couldn’t turn down. Study geography and “ways to travel the world,” learn about language and color, and cultural colors dictated by geographic location (flora and fauna), and much more through the lessons provided in this Mini Unit.
