What is Five in a Row all about?
Five in a Row is designed to help you give your child an engaging learning experience that fosters natural curiosity and teaches them to love learning.
Jane Claire Lambert, author of Five in a Row, began homeschooling in 1981 because she, too, wanted her children to be excited about learning and enjoy their education. Jane began developing her engaging teaching style, centering around great children’s books and a highly interactive approach to learning. Steve Lambert found himself “along for the ride” when Jane first began homeschooling more than 30 years ago. But he quickly saw the benefit to Jane’s unique approach to teaching and became an enthusiastic cheerleader as he watched his children’s love of learning blossom. By the mid-nineties, Steve became the publisher of Five in a Row and a popular author and speaker at homeschool conventions nationwide.
Today, Jane and Steve continue to encourage homeschoolers worldwide through the Five in a Row curriculum, podcasts, speaking at homeschool events, and homeschool coaching while enjoying their grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Carrie Lambert Bozeman, author of More Before Five in a Row and the Five in a Row Mini Units, was homeschooled K-11 before attending college. She began homeschooling her children using Five in a Row in 2012. She and her husband, Michael, now manage the company because they see the incredible value that Five in a Row offers, and want it to be available for future generations to offer their children an engaging learning experience that fosters natural curiosity and teaches them to love learning!
