Mini Unit - A Drop Around the World

A raindrop takes the reader on a journey—changing form as it vaporizes, rains down, condenses, cycles through land and trees, and freezes—making its way around the world. Along the way, rhyming verse teaches about the water cycle and makes learning this scientific lesson engaging and fun. Six of the seven continents are touched on through the raindrop’s journey and Five in a Row’s lessons; water’s physical properties are covered, and there is a lesson on the water cycle for older students.
